Bringing together 37 emerging Peruvian artists under 30, Generación Y presents a vibrant cross-section of new voices reshaping the country’s contemporary art scene. Spanning painting, drawing, installation, video, and ceramics, the exhibition reveals a generation that negotiates between memory, digital culture, and social transformation.
As noted by critic Max Hernández Calvo (El Comercio), the show stands out for its bold commitment to emerging talent in a context often dominated by market logic. Generación Y celebrates experimentation, risk, and the creative urgency of a new visual language in Peru.
